“KNOW YOUR WORTH, STEP OUT ON FAITH”
About Us

Lean on Me Ministries is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2022. We provide housing options and mentorship programs for men in need of a fresh start due to life-changing hardships such as addiction, incarceration, and homelessness. From experience, we know that too many people fall through the cracks of the system. We believe that no human being is “unhousable”. All people are worthy of love and support. We strive to make a direct impact to improve and strengthen our community by investing in those very people that society has thrown out. Now that we have a van we can provide transportation to expand rides to life skill classes, etc.

We enjoyed giving love to our community.
Basketball
We host basketball every Tuesday night from 6 PM to 8 PM. Our main focus is conflict resolution. When young men aged 14-43 enter the building, they leave their problems outside. They can be competitive in a positive way without violent reactions. Lean on Me Ministries teaches them how to be leaders of their community instead of leaders of a gang. Being a good team player means everything, even though these young men have grown up in urban neighborhoods that involve violence, abandonment, etc. Playing basketball every Tuesday has shown them a genuine interest in their well-being. We want to stop the fighting among these young men and start fighting for them because they deserve a shot at life.
