June 2023

Lean on Me Ministries would like to thank Mr. Kevin at Mark II Transfer Station for giving Anthony another shot at a productive life. He is now able to pay child support and build relationship with community and family. His job has made him feel like he values life no matter how painful his past has been.
Initially, his incarceration lead him into homelessness in California and because the Lord works in mysterious ways he found Sent1One Ministries all the way in KCMO. This is his story 6 months later.
We are always grateful to serve or community by giving each man a hand-up not a hand-out and this is what sets Founder Kevin Morgan vision apart from all other transitional living organizations.
May 2023
This month, we would like to recognize Joe Lambert and the staff for keeping men warm and cool...
Thank You, United Cooling, for giving back to your community.

April 2023
This month we would like to thank Capital One for donating journals, and snacks, and taking the time out to understand the negative effects of incarceration and homelessness as well as growing up trying to survive in urban neighborhoods (Ghetto).
These men now have an opportunity to write about things that they normally would be afraid to talk about. Part of Lean on Me Ministries is to help develop coping mechanisms to turn negative trauma into positive thoughts by dealing with the issues at hand.
